Directions to Waimea Bay
rent-a-carThe island is only about an hour's drive from Waikiki, the main city on the Big Island of Hawaii. Parking is available in the Waimea Bay area, but it can get crowded, so be sure to schedule your visit well in advance.
busThere is no direct service from Waikiki to Waimea Beach, so you must first go to Ala Moana Center and transfer to a bus bound for the North Shore. The trip takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
